The Dead Don’t Die (5.5 IMDb; 54% Rotten Tomatoes)
“The peaceful town of Centerville finds itself battling a zombie horde as the dead start rising from their graves.” – IMDb
Ryan: While this movie wasn’t a cinematic masterpiece I did enjoy it. The plot and writing may have been below average with no character development, but the hidden message behind the film was quite interesting. Plus I laughed out loud a few times. With a stacked cast of Bill Murray, Adam Driver, Danny Glover, Tilda Swinton, Chloe Sevigny, RZA, Steve Buscemi, etc. I recommend giving it a try but with an understanding that it is just an okay weird film. But with *gestures to the world* sometimes it is nice to just sit down, relax, and watch a dumb bad movie.

Haley: This movie was dumb, but it made me chuckle. I don’t think I’ve seen a single zombie movie with a great story and this movie is no exception, but at least The Dead Don’t Die knows what it is and accepts it. It doesn’t try too hard… really it doesn’t try at all, which I actually respect. It also gets points for the amazing cast who probably all agreed to sign on just for the hell of it. Overall, it gets an unenthusiastic thumbs up from me.
