Gookin’s Gambling Trends: Week 12

Here’s a quick list of betting trends I’ve compiled for this weekend’s slate of games. As always, this is not betting advice, but they certainly are trends.

Arizona and Washington State have hit the over in their last 5 consecutive meetings.

Memphis has covered the spread in the last 6 meetings against Houston.

San Diego State and UNLV have gone under the point total in their last 5 games in the series.

FAU has covered the spread in 6 of the last 8 games against Western Kentucky.

Michigan State and Ohio State have gone under the point total in 5 of their last 6 games and have scored 68 combined points just once in the series since 1977.

Kent State has covered the spread in 5-straight games against Akron.

The under has hit in the last 7 consecutive games between Penn State and Rutgers. Penn State is 1-5 hitting the over at home this season and Rutgers is 0-5 on the road.

Iowa State has covered the spread against Oklahoma in their last 5 consecutive regular season games. The teams have hit the over in 8 of their last 9 regular season contests, as well.

Texas is 0-3 against the spread as an underdog this season, while West Virginia is 9-2-2 ATS as a home favorite since 2018.

Georgia Tech is 5-0 against the spread vs. Notre Dame when playing as an underdog since 1997.

SMU and Cincinnati have gone under the point total in all 5 meetings since 2013.

Michigan has covered the spread in the last 5 meetings against Maryland.

Minnesota has covered the spread in every home game against Indiana since 1997 (6-0).

Nebraska and Wisconsin have gone over the point total in 7 of their last 9 games.

UConn and UCF have gone over the point total in 6 of their last 7 meetings.

Florida and Missouri have gone under the point total in the last 4 meetings.

The under has hit in the last 4 games in Manhattan between Baylor and Kansas State.

Oregon and Utah have gone over the point total in 7 of their last 8 games in the series.

Texas Tech has covered the spread in the last 5-straight meetings against Oklahoma State. They have also hit the over in 7 of the last 9 games in the series.

The over is 13-5 since 2001 in the series between Arizona State and Oregon State.

The over has hit in the last 5 consecutive games between Colorado State and Hawaii.
