15. Snickers Salad

14. Sweet Potatoes

What isn’t to like about Thanksgiving aka turkey day? We get to hang out with friends and family, usually the weather isn’t that bad just yet (thanks global warming), and it almost certainly involves booze, board games and NFL football. That’s all without mentioning the glorious amounts of wonderful food! Except ham, you can keep ham for your sack lunches because it’s the worst cut of pork there is IMHO. In conclusion take time to be thankful for the people who are there for you and I really hope you all took Friday off like I did! –Jared Smith

13 Cornbread Dressing

12 Homemade Noodles

11 Green Beans

10 Stuffing

My favorite part of Thanksgiving is the nap. It’s born of being sleepy after sharing a huge meal with family and friends. It usually happens in front of a TV with football on, and it’s totally fine to crash out in the middle of the day. In fact, it’s expected – how else are people getting through shopping all night? That nap is always a highlight of the entire season. There isn’t much that is more satisfying than waking up on the couch, warm, next to your loved ones, with a quarter of football left to watch. – Tami Dooley

9 Green Bean Casserole

8. Mom’s Mac and Cheese

7 Pumpkin Pie

Best part of Thanksgiving: pumpkin pie. The GOAT of desserts and I have a long history (way before PSL’s), going back to my kindergarten birthday celebration where I brought pumpkin pie to share with all my snot-nosed classmates. We celebrated my birthday in February, and no one ate a single slice except for me. Flash forward 16 years to when a cute boy SnapChatted me all the ingredients he had in his pantry to make pumpkin pie. Never settle for someone who makes you frozen Sarah Lee garbage – hold out for the one who makes a pie from scratch and delivers it to you at midnight to eat in bed after a long day. So, every year on Thanksgiving Day, I cherish the first bite of the gelatin-like, sweet but savory pumpkin pie with a big dollop of heavenly whipped cream on top, which takes me back to my care-free elementary days while also reminding me to be thankful that I have a fellow pumpkin pie-loving significant other. – Dana Melcher
